Privacy

Our privacy promise

Written so kids can understand it too. Last updated 13 July 2026.

What we collect

When a parent or guardian creates an account we store: their email address, a scrambled (encrypted) version of the password, and the child's age group (like "8โ€“10 years") โ€” never the child's exact age, name, or anything else. If you share a book review, we store the review too.

What we don't do

No adverts. No tracking. No selling or sharing your information with anyone. No marketing emails. Reviews are shown without any name attached. Our fonts and everything else are served from our own website, so other companies don't see your visits.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie that keeps you logged in. That's it โ€” no advertising or analytics cookies.

Your rights

Parents can ask to see or delete everything we hold about their child's account at any time โ€” just email [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Who runs this site
